Order Pillowcases
Just another yardage update: 2 more used, I have the pillowcases just about done for etsy. I need to add buttons to the ends, she wanted them to have some kind of closure.

Less in the stash- again
Used another 3 yards today making little blankets for the boys. I had picked up Thomas the Train panels and my older son said he wanted me to make a blanket today. He's cute like that :)

New pillowcase pattern
I needed to try out the pattern I found for my etsy order. I really like it, and it looks harder than it was.

New stash update: -1 yard for the pillowcase
-9 yards, or about that, for the border and back of the trip around the world quilt that is now on my frame. I started to tie it this afternoon.

Stash Yard Count...
Well, I'm not going in the direction I want to be for my yard count. I have used about 8 yards in the quilt I'm making for my etsy order, and will add another 3 to that tomorrow when I cut my borders. And 6-7 for the back. So that's good, and almost makes up for the 14 yards I got the other day. What can I say, I had a filled punch card worth $20 and it was on sale.
Pictures probably tomorrow, I got the main part of my trip around the world for etsy done today, cut and add borders and get it on the frame to tie it. My hubby saw it today and asked if she wanted the colors (hot pink, black, and white). Not exactly manly colors I guess. Have to figure out my pillowcases on it too.
Added to stash: 14
Used: 8 for now

Pictures
And the pink one is one that some one on etsy requested I make for her. She put another request in now for a queen quilt and matching shams/pillow cases. It's exciting for me to have someone requesting I make them a quilt, but I will say I'm not the best at charging much for my time. I'd be making something anyway.

Stash Yard Count
-8 yards (there about) as I have cut strips for a trip around the world top. 4 colors, 2 yards each, snowman/snowflakes in flannel.
Finished the two baby quilts I am thinking about giving a co-worker temp at the bank. She has twin grandsons on the way and expressed to me how she feels bad that she cannot give them the carseats they want because she can't afford it. Just pulled the old heart strings a bit. I'll have to post pictures before too long.

Goals for the new year
1. Get my 2 year old mostly potty trained before he turns 3 - end of March
2. I want to work on lowering my stash of fabric. Or at least keep track of what I take out and add. So far, 6 yards out.
3. Spend more time with my husband and our relationship. It's the easiest thing to just push aside, and we are both feeling the effects of that. I want this year to be a better year for us.
4. Spend more time outside. I recently was able to get hired at the bank I had been temping for, and they offered me a part-time position, which is what I wanted. Now I work 7:30-2, and LOVE it! So, getting home earlier should give me more sunlight to work with, and I want to take advantage of that.
5. Prepare better meals. I don't like convenience foods, and want to stay away from them as best as I can.
