Not what I had in mind for my afternoon...

I was on my way home early today so I could take my son to his 3 year check-up. A pick-up pulling a trailer of garbage cans was in the other lane, and I saw one start to come out. The wind caught the lid, and it flew out of the trailer. The van behind him just nicked it, pushing it into my lane, and above is what resulted. I also have a dent in my door and a few scuffs on the rest of the driver's side. At least it was the garbage company, so their insurance will have to pay to fix it. It still stinks. And now I have to re-schedule the doctor's appointment.
