My husband and I went up North yesterday. My parents were able to watch the kid
s. We went to a mini golf course in the afternoon, stopped at some old time shops, one of them being a candy store. The owner told me I had to be the happiest person in the store, and I probably was- very much the kid in the candy store feeling. After that, we drove through Hackensack, and I spotted a quilt shop. I am very glad I made Brian turn around. There were some ladies talking about a quilt show, and I asked them where it was. Turns out the casino we were planning on staying at was hosting a quilt show as well! We got there too late yesterday to go, but I did get to take a quick walk through this morning.
